Locksmith Benidorm is a mobile service: no shop counter, a van, a phone that is answered at any hour, and a short list of rules that do not bend. This page sets them out, so you know what to expect before you ring.

Where we work from, and how
The business works from Benidorm and covers the city and the towns around it in the Marina Baixa. There are no premises open to the public: the workshop is the van, and the job happens at your door.

Rules
Four rules, applied to every job
You hear the price before we move
For your address, at that hour. If it does not suit you, there is no charge for having asked.
Nobody's door is opened on their word alone
An ID with the address, a rental contract, a booking, a landlord or manager on the phone. This protects you: the next person asking to open your door might not be you.
The lock survives if it can
Non-destructive methods first, every time. When a cylinder has to be destroyed to open a door, you are asked before, not told after.
No arrival time is promised on a website
The line is answered around the clock. How long it takes to reach you depends on where you are and when, and that is what you are told on the phone.

Work we turn down, always
It is a deliberate choice. Locksmith Benidorm opens, repairs and secures doors, locks and safes, and does not work with keys as a product. None of the following is offered, anywhere:
- Cutting or copying keys, of any kind
- Spare or replacement keys for doors and padlocks
- Car keys: supplying, replacing or programming them
- Transponder keys and vehicle remotes
- Ignition and ignition barrel repairs
- Keys for motorbikes and vans
With cars, the work is limited to opening a car whose keys are locked inside. For anything on the list above, a key shop or a car dealer is the right call.
